Mansi Jasuja feels fortunate to have lived an unconventional story that brought her from practicing architecture in India to being a practitioner designing and hosting meaningful conversations and processes in Europe. She offers a deep connection to life with humor, stories, yoga, creative inspirations, hugs, and a lot of colorful energy.
As an environmentalist since the age of 4, Mansi followed that thread and worked across several urban environmental disciplines in various international organizations and NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) including the United Nations, European Union, and CARE-India. In 2008, a visceral sense of climate urgency led her to re-orient and begin on a new path of unlearning and relearning. In the last decade, she has been strongly purpose-driven and focuses on facilitating participatory leadership, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), and empowerment through building capacities, skills, and communities. Mansi is also one of the co-founders of Conscious Business, a movement supporting businesses and organizations in creating positive impact for people and the planet beyond profit.
Having grown up with strong family and cultural values around social justice, equality, and being in service or Sewa — a term originating from Sanskrit meaning "selfless service" — Mansi tries her best to embody these values in all the spaces and work she is a part of. Her core being is that of a warrior of the heart — both from her heritage (Sikh warriors) and from her practice (yoga and the art of hosting).
What does it mean to be a warrior of the heart in these times of complexity? Mansi is currently writing a book around this inquiry and another one on the true cost of holding non-participatory gatherings.
