Dr. Thomas Moore is the author of Care of the Soul: A Guide for Cultivating Depth and Sacredness in Everyday Day, a #1 New York Times Best Seller, and thirty other books spelling out how to bring soul into daily life.
He has a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Syracuse University, where he focused on the work of Carl J. Jung and issues of world religions. He often speaks at Jung societies around the world. He also has studied music composition and often works with artists.
Dr. Moore has made a special point to speak at medical centers about the soul of medicine. His last book is on the classic idea of spiritual emptiness and he is now writing a book based on the work of Henry David Thoreau.
